A life portrait, painted from a costumed model in the three-hour pose of Marie Antoinette enjoying the use of her head. Painted with photoshop on a laptop in at Bob Kato's drawing club. Click to enlarge.
The subtle colour choices are wonderful for me, personally, but maybe in this instance (I mostly indulge in the same ranges myself), a blob of saturated colour would really push it? If her corset were a deep lustrous red?
I've only very recently been trying to push my colour choices beyond what is actually visible, but I don't have enough knowledge or guts to explore further for a while.
