AMC debuted its latest series last night with help from the VFX artist
Jason Dunn and his colleagues at ShutterPunch VFX. The new series
is AMC second foray into genre fiction. The series takes place in a
not-too-distant dystopian future. The subtle art of VFX matte
painting transformed idyllic southern Louisiana landscapes into the
supernatural world of the Badlands.
